adri &i found ourselves in candaba for the nth time since the year began (4th for me, 3rd for adri), t his time to assist a systematics class field trip for my co-teachers.
we arrived early and got good in-the-car birding along the road. at the ponds we spotted the usual herons, egrets and ducks. best sightings for this trip? a flock of 20 or more white-shouldered starlings.
side note: lots of oriental pratincoles flying overhead.
